Target x Animal Crossing: Game For Good

The UN's global goals are set to teach people about living a sustainable life. Food and water are limited resources, and the planet's health can only tolerate a certain amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Our existence and welfare depend entirely on the only world we inhabit.

- 91% of the plastic waste is not recycled.
- Each day, an average family of four consumes approximately 400 gallons of water.
- There is a rapid depletion of 60-70% of the world's ecosystems.
Approximately 70% of consumers said they would be willing to pay more for environmentally friendly brands.

The goal of this project is to create an integrated campaign using a brand and an existing game to amplify an U.N. goal.

To immerse the audience through gameplay while inspiring to do good.

Promote universal understanding of sustainable lifestyles.

By 2030, ensure that people everywhere have the relevant information and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature

Target is introducing the initiative

In partnership with the U.N. Global Goals and the game: Animal Crossing, to inform audiences on ways to build a sustainable lifestyle in an entertaining way.

Animal Crossing: Green Life is a custom add-on to bring the U.N.'s sustainable development goal to life.
